Events

From October to April, we meet monthly in Perth for activities such as Christian devotions, talks, and crafts, games, shared lunch, show and tell, and occasionally perform music or drama! For 2015 - 2016 our theme was health. In 2013-2014 our meetings had an Explorers theme; the previous year we learned about the Victorians. Last spring we had a visit from a team with some mini-beasts and in June we held our Sports Day at the North Inch Park. In 2018 - 2019 we are looking to have a science and inventions theme for our winter meetings.

From May to September we arrange trips for fun and educational activities, and meet in the North Inch Park in Perth. Over the past years we have had trips to the Montrose Air Museum, McManus Gallery and Museum in Dundee, the Botanic Gardens in St. Andrews and the Dundee Food and Flower Festival.

We also run a conference for home educators, usually every two years. Our 2013 conference was well attended and in addition to a large number of resources for sale, we also enjoyed talks from Steve Richards of North Star Worldwide online education, science demonstrations from Marc Surtees and presentations on lapbooking and Charlotte Mason methods from parents.
